Some of the best memories of my life are visiting Sechelt while a graduate student in Creative Writing at UBC. My girlfriend's father owned a home on Redrooffs Road close to Halfmoon Bay. Do any of you know of someone living on Redrooffs Road as I would love to buy property there someday.

On Wednesday I starred in a reality show pilot covering tour guides in Hollywood, an irony since I hate reality TV.....for good reason. It's so phony. The four "tourists" on the show were all actors. Some of the lines were rehearsed. Often I had to repeat lines so the audio was perfect. Just like Hollywood, it was sleazy and nothing like the Sunshine Coast. Patricia Keene said… Interesting. I'll have to look at the atmosphere of the Lighthouse next time I'm there. It could be that the locals are just reserved and not trying to be unfriendly. This is a very sleepy little town where the main street is deserted at dusk. No wonder this is the place of the annual Writers' Festival. Nothing to do in the winter except curl up with a good book.

The nicest thing about L.A. is the people, very artistic, diverse and liberal. I just really missed the color green.
